The crisis that is embracing Milan is deepening. Sergio Conceicao’s team was once again defeated and raising its head again now appears impossible. The Rossoneri were beaten by Lazio, in a spectral San Siro that contested just about everyone. The Diavolo were fresh from their elimination from the Champions League, at the hands of Feyenoord, and two other knockouts against Torino and Bologna.

Dark and distressed faces those of the players at the end of the game. Faces that certainly did not move the public, who were increasingly tired of the situation. The organized fans, who entered in the 15th of the first half, and the rest of the stadium thus booed heavily.

Sergio Conceicao and Matteo Gabbia put their faces to it at the end of the game. The watchword is to work. We need to put our heads down and try to give everything for the jersey to get results again. Europe is far away and not only the one with the big ears. The disaster may indeed be total.

In the summer so to leave Milan, which is ready to experience a real revolution are many. A revolution, which as widely stated, will start with the choice of a new sporting director and clearly the technical leadership. Then the changes, inevitably, will also involve the players.

Among the players most at risk is Theo Hernandez. The Frenchman, even on Sunday against Lazio, gave a negative performance. The renewal is not coming and the farewell seems really inevitable. The figure? Hard to say, but for 45 million euros, the transalpine national would definitely pack his bags. At least that would be the idea of the Diavolo, which must, however, reckon with the thoughts of Theo Hernandez, who might decide to stay in the Rossoneri until his contract expires on June 30, 2026.

But the Frenchman may not be the only defender to pack his bags. Among the players at risk of a farewell are, in fact, Fikayo Tomori. The Premier League is ready to come knocking on the Diavolo’s door again. The price is the one for which the green light had come in the winter, 25 million euros. One needs, at least, 30, however, for Malick Thiaw. On the German watch out for a return to the Bundesliga, but the center-back is also liked in England.
