GdS: “A young Parma armors Circati.”

Il difensore, fermo per il ko al ginocchio destro, ha firmato il prolungamento fino al 2029

There is a Parma that looks at the present, not without some apprehension ahead of Saturday’s away match in Udine. And there is a Parma that, while having to commit much of its energy to chasing salvation, also has the strength to stretch its gaze to the future. And it is in this key that Alessandro Circati’s contract extension until 2029 should be read.

And, after that of Circati, work is being done on the contract extension of another youngster: Giovanni Leoni, class of 2006. The directives given by President Krause to his staff are very clear: the club must be based on a group of young people and a spectacular game. The decision to sign Cristian Chivu, after the exoneration of Fabio Pecchia, should be read in this sense: the Romanian coach, so far, has always worked in the youth sector, and he knows how to approach with still immature talents who must express their full potential.
