Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave a lengthy interview to GQ Italia magazine that, as always, is creating quite a bit of controversy. Unlike his last press conference outings, in which he appeared much more realistic, this time he returned to speak more as a character than as a manager. He spoke positively about the Milan project, about Gerry Cardinale and above all about the work of the management, but the facts say that for the past two years, that is, since Maldini and Massara were sent away, Milan has reaped only failures and disappointments.
And it will do so again this season. Indeed, there is a risk of doing even worse without even fourth place and qualification for the next Champions League. The defeat against Torino has further complicated the race: it can still be done, thanks in part to the Bologna match to be made up, but the road is uphill. In any case, getting there would not save a season that started badly and is going on worse, with all the choices that are turning out to be wrong: from the coaches (Fonseca and Bonera, both exonerated) to the market choices (defeated in January).

The role for him was ready: prosecutor. “When my agent Mino Raiola passed away a couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to join his company, become a prosecutor. I thought about it. And I was clear with Gerry: I said, listen, I have this opportunity, and I also have the one you are offering me, but actually…,” Ibrahimovic revealed.
He added, “I don’t want either. Because my life at that time was good like that. I was not dependent on anyone. No schedule to follow. No alarm clock at seven o’clock. The only plan was my two ninjas, my two boys, and Helena. And then of course life at home, training.”
