Milan disappointing against Feyenoord in Rotterdam. Rossoneri condemned by a Paixao goal with Mike Maignan’s obvious fault, however, after conceding 1-0 they failed to put in the right performance.
The hosts were brighter and created more chances to make it 2-0 as well. The Diavolo had a few chances as well, however in the offensive phase they were not bad enough. When they return to the San Siro next week, they will need a very different performance to overturn the result and qualify for the Champions League Round of 16.
Champions League, Sergio Conceicao dopo Feyenoord-Milan
Sergio Conceicao spoke to Prime Video’s microphones after Feyenoord-Milan. Below are his statements on the various topics addressed.
IMAGE OF CONCEICAO SITTING ON THE DRINKING Fridge – “We are in the middle of a playoff, we still have 90 plus minutes to go. There was a difficult environment here in Rotterdam, they were very aggressive and won many duels, when it’s like that it’s hard to win the game. We had chances to come out of here with a draw, however, we were not effective up front. We lacked some aggressiveness in the duels, they were faster and more aggressive. To win games, second balls are also important.”

FOUR OFFENSIVE PLAYERS – “We have to review this game, the players have to see what to do to improve. We don’t have so much time to work on the field. Now we have Verona and then we will have another 90 minutes to go the Round of 16 of the Champions League, a goal of ours.”
WORK TO KEEP EMOTIONAL LEVEL HIGH – “Definitely on an emotional/emotional level I am always very motivated to give my best. If we are not motivated in a Champions League game… The quality of a player is not only technical, there are other characteristics they must have to be top players. Continuity, desire, mentality, attitude… In Champions the level is high. Even at the level of play, if we want to exploit others’ weaknesses, we have to be more aggressive and effective. Everything is connected. On an emotional and motivational level, we have to be at the top all the time.”
