The day of Federico Cherubini’s presentation has arrived. The new CEO spoke at the press conference today, after taking office as of Jan. 27. Cherubini was asked about the work of the club and the technical project implemented by the Crociati club, starting with the commitment of President Kyle Krause, who strongly wanted the arrival of the former Juventus manager: “I have been following the Parma project for years, I knew President Krause before he acquired Parma. What struck me about him, about this project, is that years ago the president had outlined to me a vision and I really see this vision. His commitment, not only financially, has given ample evidence that he has chosen a project with great determination. We will achieve the goals we have set for ourselves.”
There has also been a lot of talk about the latest market, which saw Parma pull off six strikes, on which, however, Cherubini would not have had a particular impact, as he went into action in the final stages: “In the last few days I have experienced what are the meetings of the club’s deputies to make decisions in terms of the market. I didn’t give any particular direction, it seemed quite inappropriate. Six new signings have been concluded, the club has given strong signals in an effort to maintain the category.”
