72 Toro Club si sono uniti e hanno acquistato una pagina cartacea per scrivere e pubblicizzare una lettera contro Cairo
The market has not gone at all as expected, the season-unless there are resounding downward twists and turns-seems to be over by February, and there is no talk of an ambitious project: always the same story for several years now. The Toro fans first absorbed and swallowed, then began to claim it with mass organized protests outside the stadium and especially on social media. Now one more step has been climbed in anger, the one inherent in the totally public controversy. 72 Toro Clubs have in fact put into action an initiative promoted by Mario Patrignani – president of the Toro Club Fedelissimi Pesaro – and have purchased a page of the newspaper Tuttosport to write a letter against Cairo, criticizing his management of all these years and clamoring, for the umpteenth time, for “liberation.”
La lettera dei Toro Club
The letter reads, “Twenty years of Cairo in Torino, twenty years of icy, asphyxiated management, not up to the glorious history and blazon of the club, disrespectful of the feelings of the fans: this is what the facts have said, at the expense also of an ocean of popular passion betrayed and a sea of wasted potential. Mediocre results, when not failures, however amid serial records of capital gains. The waterline (when good…), with no real ambition, no planning, no foresight. Meanwhile, year after year, the love for Toro of us granatas has progressively ended up in a sink of frustration, hostage to great illusions, bitter disappointments, betrayed promises and endless anger. But now enough of this continuous “degranatization” of Torino and its legend! We Granata fans confirm our irreversible distrust in the current president, exonerate him once again and demand loudly: CAIRO, SELL THE TOURNAMENT, FREE US! WE WANT OUR FUTURE BACK!”
