Cristiano Biraghi was born on September 1, 1992, in Cernusco sul Naviglio. He is therefore 32 years old. Captain of Fiorentina, he is very close to Torino. He is a left-back, left-footed. But he can also play as an outside left full-back. Very good at crossing and taking free kicks. He said he was inspired in his free kicks by those taken by Sinisa Mihajlovic. After this apprenticeship, the player improved a lot. From 2017 to 2019 he played at Fiorentina with 70 games and 2 goals. One season at Inter Milan, with 26 appearances and 2 goals. Then from 2020 to 2025 he played 142 games and scored 10 goals with Fiorentina. As captain, he came close to a Coppa Italia and two Conference Leagues in the Commisso era. He also boasts 16 appearances and 1 goal with the Italian national team.
Una stagione difficile
This year things have changed for him at Viola. He played only 8 games in Serie A with 1 goal and 1 yellow card. Before with Vincenzo Italiano he was at the center of the project. But with Raffaele Palladino there was never a spark, accomplices being Gosens and Parisi who bypassed him in the hierarchies.
