Three goals in three games for Santiago Pierotti and a respectable haul brought to 4 goals and 2 assists in 22 appearances this season. After Krstovic’s beautiful goal, the goals that propelled Lecce to an important victory on the Parma pitch were scored by the Argentine, served twice into space by Krstovic at 63′ and 93′ for the safety goal. An immense satisfaction for Pierotti, a starter wide on the right in the trident, also accomplice to Dorgu’s continued adaptation, in seven of the last eight games. The Tardini’s double added to Cagliari’s flick and skyrocketed the numbers for Santi, who never reached a career-high four goals in a season in his championships at Colon.
Pierotti plays the role of offensive winger in a different way than his predecessors Dorgu and Strefezza.
