THE COMMENT. “Bologna FC 1909 announces that it has acquired the right to the sports performance of striker Estanis Pedrola from UC Sampdoria on a temporary basis until June 30, 2025, with an option for definitive acquisition.
The tenth Spanish player in the club’s history, Estanis is a right-footed winger of great individual technique and quality, strong in one-on-one play, agile and quick. A Catalan who grew up at Espanyol and moved on to Barcelona’s U19 formation, he made his La Liga debut in January 2022 then as soon as he was 20 moved on loan to relegated Sampdoria. His impact on the cadet league is excellent-despite the serious difficulties of Pirlo’s team-Pedrola stands out for his elegant dribbling, effectiveness in the open field, good physicality, and ability to converge to seek the conclusion with his right foot (three goals in the first six days), as well as to take away the opponent’s intervention time. Limited by a series of injuries, he is nevertheless one of the most interesting talents seen at work in Serie B and ended the year with 15 appearances, before being acquired outright by the Ligurians last summer.”
