Born in 2003, Gourna-Douath grew up in the youth ranks of Saint-Etienne before establishing himself in the first team at age 17, collecting several appearances in Ligue 1. He moved to Salzburg in 2022, helping to win the Austrian championship in 2023.
In the Giallorossi he will wear jersey number 27.
