Falco seeks space in Serie C: six-month contract with Campobasso

From the Champions League dream with Red Star Belgrade after a troubled farewell with Lecce to another six months without playing. Filippo Falco, 108 appearances with 17 goals and 23 assists in a Giallorossi jersey, will play until the end of the season with Campobasso after only one appearance (for 30′) in B at Carrarese. The Taranto man will be coached by Fabio Prosperi, a former Taranto defender himself who is now the coach of Campobasso.

Following is the statement from the Molise club: “Campobasso FC announces the arrival to the team of Filippo Falco, a forward born in 1992, who has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2025, with the possibility of automatic renewal.

Falco arrives in the Molise capital bringing with him a wealth of experience gained on the fields of Serie A and Serie B. Brought up in the youth sectors of Bari and Lecce, currently playing for Carrarese, he has built an important career wearing the jerseys of clubs such as Pavia, Cesena, Pescara, Bologna, Benevento, Perugia, Cagliari and Red Star Belgrade.”
