Campoccia elected Figc adviser for Lega Serie A

Gabriele Gravina was re-elected to the presidency of the FIGC, thus obtaining his third consecutive term. At the same time, the Lega Serie A’s new representatives on the Federal Council for the 2025-2028 term were defined. The nominees include Stefano Campoccia, vice president of Udinese, who joins Giuseppe Marotta (Inter) and Francesco Calvo (Juventus) as new federal directors.

In addition to these three elected representatives, the Federal Council includes as of right Ezio Simonelli, recently appointed president of Lega Serie A. The selection of representatives saw a tight competition, with numerous candidates vying for the three available seats. Among the names that had put forward their candidacy were Adriano Galliani (Monza), Paolo Scaroni (Milan), Carlo Catte (Cagliari), Claudio Fenucci (Bologna), Alessandro Ferrari (Fiorentina), Luca Martines (Parma), Luca Percassi (Atalanta), Saverio Sticchi Damiani (Lecce), and Francesco Terrazzani (Como).

Campoccia’s election strengthens Udinese’s presence at the top of Italian soccer, recognizing the Friulian club’s active role in the national football scene. With this new composition, the Federal Council is preparing to face the challenges of the next four years, with the goal of strengthening the soccer system in Italy.
