Report cards.
SAVA 5: In the first half, he is never called upon. In the second half, Nicolussi Caviglia gets past him with a great free kick, but on the occasion of Gytkjaer’s goal he goes out wide. Red-pencil mistake.
KRISTENSEN 6.5: He is everywhere in the second half. Pushes up the flank, moves up the middle and defends well. Impeccable shooting for the Danish defender.
BIJOL 6: He doesn’t have an easy time with a player like Yeboah, but he manages to contain him without any particular flaws.
SOLET 7: He had to redeem himself after his expulsion against Como, and he did. Very good in defense and superlative in the action that led to the 3-2 signed by Iker Bravo.
KAMARA 6.5: Serves the assist to Lucca on the first goal. Holds Zerbin well without much difficulty. From 65′ ZEMURA 6: Takes over well, bringing liveliness to the offensive phase and helping in defense.
THAUVIN 6: Tries to move the team in the first half. In the second half he looks for the play and is among the protagonists (goalkeeper and Venice defense the main ones) on the double scored by Lovric. He has provided better performances, but deserves a sufficiency. From 92′ ZARRAGA: S.V.
LOVRIC 6.5: Underwhelming first half, but rises to prominence in the second half with a goal (the one for the momentary 2-0) and a lot of substance in the middle of the field.
PAYERO 5.5: Not very incisive and almost never in the thick of the game. The Argentine player is called back to the bench early. Performance not up to the mark. From 65′ ATTA 6: Wastes an excellent chance, but does not have a bad match.
EKKELENKAMP 6: In the first half he is the only one of the bianconeri to make himself dangerous with a conclusion parried by the goalkeeper. He drops off in the second half. From 83′ PAFUNDI: S.V.
SANCHEZ 5.5: Long gone are the days when he drove the stadium crazy with his plays. Better in the second half, but too little to earn him a six on the report card. From 65′ BRAVO 7: pool shot for the winning goal and the three golden points. Couldn’t have gone in better.
LUCCA 7: Joronen misses, but he is good at believing and pushing the ball into the net for Udinese’s lead. He struggles to the end with the Lagoon defense.
RUNJAIC 6: His Udinese returns to victory at home after months (last one on Oct. 25 against Cagliari). Severely insufficient first half of his boys, then the Bianconeri grow in the second half and win three very important points…but how much suffering!
