Jurica Prsir, a talented youngster born in 2000 at HNK Gorica, may have a future in Italy. According to information gathered by TMW, the midfielder has been proposed to several Serie A and Serie B clubs including Lecce. Among the teams in the top division interested are, in addition to the Giallorossi, Genoa, Venezia, Hellas Verona, Cagliari, Monza and Empoli, while in Serie B his name has been approached by Salernitana, Bari, Cremonese and Cesena.
Prsir is an offensive halfback who can also play the roles of playmaker and trequartista. With a good physique and decent technique, he stands out for his ability to play between the lines and attack depth. He gained experience in Croatia’s youth selections, wearing the national team’s jersey from the Under 16 to the Under 21. It remains to be seen whether these contacts will materialize into a transfer: the negotiation is being followed by agent Davide Bellantone.
