Granata e rossoblù vincenti, si portano al decimo posto, mentre si fermano Como e Udinese
Torino celebrated a crucial home victory, beating Cagliari 2-0 to move up to 10th place in the standings with 26 points, in the company of Udinese and Genoa. A success that allows the granata to temporarily move away from the hottest area of the standings, that of the salvation struggle. Adams’ double gave three important points to Vanoli’s team, which in recent weeks has found greater solidity and shown signs of growth. Despite the excellent result, however, Torino remains far from the Europe zone and will have to continue working to maintain this position, trying to gain ground in the coming days.
Roma e la corsa verso l’Europa
Roma also continues its run, trying to catch up with the big boys after a slow start thanks to its 1-2 away win against Udinese. With this result, Ranier’s team moves to 30 points, a reassuring distance from the direct pursuers and only 6 points from the Europa zone. Despite some difficulties during the season, the victory in Udine showed a Roma capable of fighting and getting back up. The goal of getting back into the positions that give access to European competitions is still within reach, but the team will have to improve continuity in results to really make an assault on the highest places in the standings.
Il Como e l’Empoli faticano a decollare
On the opposite side of the standings, the difficulties for Como and Empoli seem never-ending. The Larians remain on 22 points after a 1-2 home loss to Atalanta and are unable to find the right continuity to move away from the relegation zone. Worse still is Empoli, which stands at 21 points after a 1-1 draw against Bologna at home. The two teams are one step away from the most critical area of the standings and will absolutely have to react if they want to avoid being sucked into the fight not to be relegated. The coming weeks will be decisive for both, who will have to fight to collect as many points as possible ahead of the second half of the season.
