Adana rejects Udinese’s first offer for Maestro

No deal: Udinese’s first bid for midfielder Maestro rejected by Adana Demirispor. The Bianconeri sent the Turkish outfit an offer of around €4 million, but Mario Balotelli’s former club is starting from a base of €5 million to give up its midfielder.

This was confirmed by Metin Korkmaz, former vice president of the Adana club, on the microphones of Radiospor’s Turkish colleagues in these words:

“We have received many offers from abroad and Turkey for Maestro. Besiktas made an offer of 1.5 million, an amount we cannot accept. Udinese offered more than double that, Galatasaray also asked for the player despite the fact that he is not their priority right now, as did Trabzonspor and Fenerbache. For Maestro, clubs from the Premier League have also called us. The base price we set for his transfer is 5 million euros.”
