On Conte: “One is very comfortable with him, but never comfortable. You always have to be ready, work hard and have great respect for everyone.”

On the role of the second coach: “That task has evolved a lot over the years. The second has become a bit of a go-between for the coach and the staff. I started working with Conte as a technical collaborator: analyzing our matches and training sessions is the aspect that is most dear to me and on which I focus so much.”

The assistant coach then also analyzed the different training sessions. In fact, the blue staff member made some very important statements.

“In every training session there is a part that the coach is very attached to, related to tactics and drills that he likes to follow. The closer we get to the game, the more the coach comes into play in a decisive way, because he is the key to everything.”

On possible future coaches: “Di Lorenzo is a guy who knows soccer and is very interested. Simeone, also is very attentive to the dynamics of the game. For intelligence and communication, in my opinion Zerbin can also become a coach.”
