Released as captain, and with a salvation won on the field, from Haugesund, Norwegian national team goalkeeper Egil Selvik is expected to arrive in Udine today where he will undergo the ritual medical examinations preparatory to his official move to Udinese.
The class of ’97 will thus sign a three-year contract with the Friulian club until June 30, 2028. With Maduka Okoye’s injury, a goalkeeper was needed who will initially have Razvan Sava’s back, but who can also compete with the young Romanian for the starting spot.
