Donadoni: “Koopmeiners? Context affects so much.”

Roberto Donadoni, former footballer, has his say on Juve. Here are his words to Tuttosport: “From the point of view of scoring, the lack of some important goals turns on certain lights that lead him to be categorized in one way rather than another. However, he has already scored 12 goals and then in the past he too has experienced particular moments. He is clearly a finalizing striker so it is necessary for the team to turn in a certain way to put him in a position to exalt his qualities.”

Su Koopmeiners

Teun Koopmeiners, centrocampista della Juventus

“He is not on the level of last year. The injury certainly didn’t help him. I don’t know if the theory that those who leave Atalanta then struggle is so true. One thing is for sure, in Bergamo the players are used to a certain kind of context, perhaps linked a little more to team play, and when some of these performers leave and are expected to make a difference in the new team even individually here is when the genuine technical skills come out. Conceicao? Clearly he has characteristics that ignite the fan’s imagination. A lot of talk is made then however we need to do the facts, we need to give fi duce to the younger players without immediately worrying about the result. If we do not change this attitude in Italy we will always remain hostage to the usual problem.”
