Once again, Leao vs. Cassano: the Portuguese responded to Antonio’s attack on social media, he came down hard on him
Rafael Leao against Antonio Cassano. This is not the first time this has happened: already in the past the Portuguese had responded on social media to the attacks of the former footballer, who has never held him in high esteem. Cassano expressed his opinion against the Portuguese after reading the player’s post-match statements. Statements in which he made it clear that he appreciated and not a little the change of technical guidance between Fonseca and Conceicao: “Even Sergio will realize that Leao is a zero-to-zero player, a fake. He is neither meat nor fish, he is Martial-like,” the former footballer began. Who then pointed out the usual things: “He can’t play with the team, he can’t make the last pass. Little stuff, even Conceicao will notice.” Then the comment on the reference to Fonseca: “He has to thank him, because if it had been Spalletti or Capello there, they would have put him up against the wall. Fonseca has behaved far too well. He should be ashamed of himself. If he had the balls, he should have told him to his face. He has no personality.”

In short, as always Cassano comes down hard on Leao. Who, also charged for the Super Cup victory and, above all, of the big impact he had on the match, decided to respond to him as he has done in the past. The Portuguese shared the video again and, with the use of the usual emoticons, basically called him a clown.

Certainly Leao’s exit is not one of the best, but Antonio’s words were very harsh, and it is also normal that a guy, after such an evening, might react that way. Everyone does it in his own way, and the good Cassano, who as a footballer has done all kinds of things, will understand.
